We met our birthmother at 4:30 as well as the attorney and social worker from the agency down here. We also met the birthmother's fiancé who may be the father of the baby. Everyone was very nice and easy to talk to. The birthmother was doing so well only a day after having a c-section! We talked for a while and answered each other's questions. After we got to know each other a bit we got to go up to see the baby! Only 2 people were allowed in at a time and one of them had to be the birthmother. These were my first pictures of the baby.
In this picture you can see his intestines in the silo. The night before the silo was full and by the next day only 25% of his intestines were left in the silo. That was much better than expected.
